FA Cup semi-final

The draw for the FA Cup semi-final was held on Sunday June 28 during half-time of the quarter-final tie between Newcastle United and Man City.

Fixtures took place on the weekend July 18-19 and were played at Wembley Stadium.

FA Cup quarter-final

The FA Cup 2019-20 quarter-final draw was held on Wednesday March 4.

Fixtures were scheduled to take place the weekend of March 21-22, but had to be rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Games were instead scheduled for the end of June.

FA Cup fifth round

The draw for the FA Cup fifth round took place on January 27, before kick-off between Bournemouth and Arsenal.

The ties were played the week of March 2 and there were no replays, with any tied games going to extra-time and penalties.

FA Cup fourth round

The draw for the FA Cup fourth round took place on January 6, prior to kick-off between Arsenal and Leeds.

Manchester City faced Fulham at home, while Chelsea paid a visit to Hull City. Liverpool travelled to Shrewsbury Town, and Manchester United took on Tranmere Rovers.

The fixtures took place between January 24 and 27 .

The draw for the 2019-20 FA Cup third round took place on December 2, 2019. The ties were played the weekend commencing January 4, 2020 .

Liverpool defeated Everton in the Merseyside derby in the round's standout match, while defending champions Manchester City won against League Two side Port Vale.

Elsewhere, Wolves' tie with Manchester United and Tottenham's with Middlesbrough went to a replay, while Arsenal defeated Leeds at the Emirates Stadium.

When did the FA Cup start & when is the final?

The first round proper of the 2019-20 FA Cup kicked off on November 8, 2019, with 47 clubs from League One and League Two entering at that stage.

Those clubs joined the 32 winners from the qualifying stages of the competition, which got under way on August 10 and concluded on October 19.

Premier League and Championship clubs entered the competition at the third round.

The date of the 2019-20 FA Cup final is now August 1, 2020. The game will take place at Wembley Stadium, as is customary. It will be marketed as the 'Heads Up FA Cup final'.

FA Cup TV channel & stream

The FA Cup is broadcast on the BBC and BT Sport in the United Kingdom.

Both networks air the final and share the rest of the competition, taking turns to select the games they wish to broadcast.

All matches shown by the BBC and BT Sport will be available to stream on their respective websites and apps.

In the United States, the rights to the FA Cup are owned by ESPN, but the games will exclusively be streamed online via ESPN+ .

That means the games are not strictly being shown live on television in the US.
